Tell us about who you are?

 I am 36 years old and live in Sweden. I work in preschool but dream of working with interior design. I live together with my partner Robert our 2 children and 2 dogs and 2 cats in our cottage. I love being out in the woods, walking reading books and taking photographs. I also like coffee very much and have a great interest in history, especially from the middle of the 18th century to the post-war period 

Tell us about your beautiful house! What is the story? What led you there?

The house we live in was built around 1901 and was originally the residence of people who worked for the railway. My partner's mother bought the house in 1995 and modernised with water, sewage and an extension. When we bought the house about 10 years ago, we began to carefully restore the cottage to its former glory. We like to live here so much and to have a river in the garden with our own jetty is absolutely wonderful

It's our dining room.

It's probably the whole house

Do you have a decoration item with a story in your house? Something with a story? 

Pretty much everything in our house is bought secondhand or inherited from relatives. I am especially fond of our tall dark cabinets that we got out of a relative and our dining table that my grandmothers aunt bought when she moved to Stockholm in the 1920s. Think it's so nice to have furniture with a history
