IKEA x Gustaf Westman: Playful Design Drops Autumn 2025

IKEA is partnering with Swedish designer Gustaf Westman (and Evelina Kroon) on a bold collection set to launch in autumn 2025. The collaboration was officially unveiled during IKEA’s Democratic Design Days in Älmhult. It reimagines holiday and celebration aesthetics using Westman’s signature style—curved shapes, chunky forms, playful colors—and Evelina Kroon’s nostalgic-modern touch. The 12-piece line includes tableware, lighting, candleholders, and standout pieces like a dedicated “meatball plate”. 

Some important notes:

• The inspiration leans into making every day a reason to gather—not just traditional holidays. 

• Colour palette includes unconventional festive tones: bubblegum pink, baby blue, bright reds/greens. 

• Signature pieces include a spiral vase, rechargeable & portable lighting, bold tabletop items, and playful accessories. 

• It’s part of IKEA’s VINTERFINT winter collection, due to hit stores around September–October 2025.
