Apple & Design Miami Debut “Designers of Tomorrow” at Paris: 4 Rising Talents Blending Craft and Tech

A new platform for the next wave of design

At Design Miami/Paris 2025, Apple and Design Miami unveiled Designers of Tomorrow, a curated platform championing emerging voices who treat technology as a craft amplifier—not the headline act. The first cohort features Atelier Duyi Han (Shanghai), Jolie Ngo (Santa Barbara), Marie & Alexandre (Paris), and Marco Campardo (London), each presenting newly commissioned work inside the historic Hôtel de Maisons. Curated by Rodman Primack with Apple Design leaders Molly Anderson and Alan Dye among the jury, the initiative frames iPad and Mac as parts of the studio toolkit—from ideation and sketch to fabrication and storytelling. Wallpaper*+1

The four designers, in brief

  • Atelier Duyi Han — unveils pieces that fuse AI-adjacent thinking, body mapping, and reflection, extending his practice of speculative objects and immersive spatial narratives. Architectural Digest

  • Jolie Ngo — presents 3D-printed ceramic lighting and vessels that feel folkloric yet futuristic, pushing clay through digital pipelines. Designboom

  • Marie & Alexandre — show modular glass totems and thermoformed vases, retooling industrial processes into collectible design. Architectural Digest

  • Marco Campardo — debuts a buttery, rounded evolution of his resin “Jello” tables (via Galerie kreo), turning material experiment into function. Wallpaper*

Why it matters

Beyond a fair presentation, Designers of Tomorrow is a signal: major platforms are investing in craft × computation as a single continuum. The show’s films and process displays make the case that digital tools extend, rather than replace, human touch—a timely counterpoint in an AI-saturated moment. SURFACE+1
