Drought Introduces the Knife Mirror and Blood Rug in Bold New Home Collection
The Knife Mirror stands nearly seven feet tall and features a striking black wooden frame with three silver circles, mimicking the handle of a giant knife. Its commanding presence is intended to challenge conventional ideas of reflection and form, turning a functional object into an artistic centerpiece. Built with a sturdy glued backing and equipped with hooks for wall mounting, the mirror is as practical as it is provocative.
Complementing the Knife Mirror is the Blood Rug, a hand-tufted piece designed to resemble a blood splatter. Measuring roughly 36 by 13.5 inches, it offers a dramatic contrast when placed beneath the mirror, creating a full installation that blurs the line between art and interior design.
The pieces are available for preorder, with an expected shipping window of up to 12 weeks. This launch reinforces Drought’s reputation for delivering home objects that are as much about storytelling and emotion as they are about function and style.
